Step-by-Step Guide to Setting Up Waitrose Engage

Prerequisites:

  • You must have your contact registered in your organization's MDM (Master Data Management) system.
  • You must use your company email address.

Steps:

  • Get Started: Click the "Get Started" button in the top right corner of the screen.
  • Enter Email and Accept Terms: Enter your company email address, review the privacy and cookie notices, and click "Submit."
  • Check for Invitation: You will receive an invitation email from Hello Support (engage.io). Click the "Accept Invitation" link in the email.
  • If you don't receive the email: Check your spam or junk folder. If it's not there, contact your IT department or email administrator to ensure they are not blocking emails from engage.io.
  • Create Account: After clicking the invitation link, you will be directed to Waitrose Engage. Follow the prompts to create an account and set a password.
  • Password Requirements:
    • Must be at least 10 characters long.
    • Must include at least three of the following:
      • Lowercase letters (a-z)
      • Uppercase letters (A-Z)
      • Numbers (0-9)
      • Special characters (e.g., !@#$%^&*)
    • No more than two identical characters in a row (e.g., "11" is not allowed).
  • Log In: Once you have set your password, you can log in with your email address and password.

Important Notes:

  • MDM Registration: If you signed up but do not have an existing contact record in MDM, you will not have full access to Waitrose Engage. Contact your MDM administrator to resolve this.
  • Non-Company Email Addresses: If you do not have a company email address, you can still register, but you will need to be contacted directly for verification, which may delay your account activation.
  • Forgotten Password: If you forget your password, click "Login" in the top right corner, then select "Don't Remember." Enter your registered email address, and you will receive a password reset link. Check your email (including spam/junk folders) for the link and follow the instructions.
